Your backups are stored in Australian datacenters.
Our Australian-based backup service stores data in secure Australian datacenters, then copies it automatically to separate immutable storage arrays.

Australian datacenter storage
Backup data is routed to secure Australian datacenters, keeping protected copies close to your business while maintaining separation from production systems.
Australian storage
Backup data is stored in secure Australian datacenters.
Your Australian storage location is confirmed during onboarding.
Geographic separation
Backup infrastructure is kept separate from your production environment.
A local incident cannot take out both production and backup copies.
Immutable copies
Backups are copied automatically to separate immutable storage arrays.
Object-lock controls protect restore points from alteration or deletion.
Location guidance
We recommend a suitable datacenter based on your business and compliance needs.

Datacenter, storage and server infrastructure
Our backup platform uses secure Australian datacenters, immutable storage arrays, and enterprise server infrastructure.

Datacenter safeguards
Every local storage location is assessed for physical resilience, encryption, access control, and recoverability.
Physical security
Controlled facility access, surveillance, resilient power, and environmental monitoring protect the Australian datacenter.
Encrypted transfer and storage
Backup data is encrypted before transfer, protected in transit, and remains encrypted while stored.
Immutable copies
Separate object-locked copies prevent protected restore points from being changed or deleted during retention.
Location confirmed
Your Australian datacenter location and the controls available there are confirmed before protection begins.

Built for resilience, not just availability
AES-256 encryption
Backups are encrypted on-site using AES-256, then transferred over one-way TLS 1.2 connections and stored encrypted in the cloud. Data is only decrypted during recovery at your business site.
Immutable storage
Immutable copies keep backups locked for their retention period. Once written, they cannot be modified, encrypted, or deleted by ransomware, malware, or compromised admin credentials.
Private key option
You can create your own private encryption key or have one generated during automated deployment. You control who can decrypt your backups.
Physical security
Datacenter partners provide 24/7 security, biometric hand-geometry readers, CCTV coverage, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel generators, and multizone dry-piped fire protection with VESDA.
Automatic country routing
When you set up a customer or site, you select the country. If a datacenter exists there, data stays there. If not, it is sent to the nearest mapped location.
Local data routing
Backup data is stored in Australian datacenters and copied automatically to separate immutable storage arrays with object-lock policies applied.
